According to Will Richardson (2009), writer of Blogs, Wikis, Podcasts, and Other Powerful Web Tools for Classrooms, “Millions of people have begun using public, online bookmarking services where they can save links, annotate them with unique keywords or ‘tags’ to organize them, and then share them with the world” (p. 88). Due to this influx of social bookmarking, new sites have been appearing all over the web. According to the website eBizMBA Inc. (2009), there are 20 top social bookmarking sites.
eBizMBA Inc.’s (2009) top 20 social bookmarking sites are:
While these are only the top 20 social bookmarking sites, there are probably many more, lesser-known sites. Perhaps these 20 examples are only the beginning of a social bookmarking revolution.
